The 3" Saramonic Audio Interface cable allows you to connect a multitude of audio sources and equipment to the USB-C port of an iPhone, Android phone, tablet, computer, and more. This versatile audio-input adapter accepts the 3.5mm TRS male output jack on Sonorous Objects microphones enabling you to capture audio directly into your USB-C device without the need for any additional equipment.

The USB C Saramonic Audio Interface lets you record in either mono or stereo. Perfect when working with Sonorous Objects mono and stereo microphones with a 3.5mm cable termination, two mics from a dual-channel wireless receiver, or a stereo/mono audio feed from a mixer.

The cable provides plug-in power to microphones, which is needed for operating on-camera mics that are not self-powered via a battery. It is terminated with a 3.5mm TRS female connector on one end and a USB-C connector at the other. Built to last, both connectors are gold-plated to resist corrosion and provide a reliable audio signal.

What is the difference between the SO Standard Series and SO.100 Series microphones?

The sonic performance between the SO Standard Series and the SO.100 series is the same as both microphone product lines use the same Primo capsules in them. The difference between the two pertains to the physical size of the mics and the included/compatible accessories.

The SO.100 series is 20mm in diameter and is likely to be more compatible with more third party accessories. The SO.100 series have a typical male XLR termination and can be used with any typical XLR cable. The SO.100 series does not include any accessories.

The SO Standard Series mics are much smaller (11mm in diameter), terminate in male mini XLR, use proprietary cables (mini XLR to XLR or 3.5mm) and include some accessories (foam windscreen, alligator clip, cable type of choice (XLR or 3.5mm) We’ve designed and offer a range of accessories to be used with the SO Standard Series - Magnetic Mounts, Stereo XY/ORTF/AB array mounts etc.. The length of the included XLR cable can be extended by connecting any typical XLR cable.
